This course requires students to attend 10-12 eight-hour days face to face (either classroom-based or via zoom).

Students are enrolled for 12 months.

There are no formal prerequisite units required for entry into this course. Learners will require English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.

Participants are required to engage in both theoretical and practical training sessions. These include assisting with workplace compliance, implementing WHS consultation and participation processes, and contributing to WHS risk management. They must also demonstrate the ability to respond to workplace incidents, manage WHS implications of return to work, and ensure WHS compliance of contractors. Additionally, participants will implement WHS monitoring processes and manage emergency procedures to ensure the safety of all workplace occupants. Students will need access to a computer, and preferably a laptop as all assessments are online.
